The subject for this print is a view from a cabin porch in the Adirondacks overlooking a lake and the beach where the artist was married and spends part of every summer with his family. The view of the lake is framed by the window, and the light and bright colors of the outdoors scene are in contrast to the darker color pallet of the inside of the cabin. Adirondack Window was commissioned by the Albany Print Club for their 1990 presentation print.
