This second suite of miniature prints was made for the Third International Miniature Print Exhibition, at the Pratt Graphic Art Center, Broadway, NY, NY. Like the prior exhibition held in 1966 the premise of this later show was the same– “that many artists, accustomed to working in large dimensions, are intrigued with the microcosmic intimacy of a small print”. (Quote from Artist’s Proof, Volume VI, Numbers 9-10, 1966). Unlike the prior suite of miniatures, the prints in The Miniature Suite II were varnished.
