This print is part of a suite of ten images which became the studies for “My Studio On Broome Street” series of paintings and prints. The etching plates were drawn and proofed from 1966 to 1967. The editions were printed by Emiliano Sorini in New York City, during the summer of 1968 and completed September 10, 1968. The paintings derived from these prints were shown in Pond’s first major one-man show in New York City at the Martha Jackson Gallery in 1968.
