Adirondack Window I

The subject for this painting is a view from a cabin porch in the Adirondacks overlooking the lake shore where the artist was married and continues to spend part of every summer with his family. The view of the lake is framed by the window, and the light and bright colors of the outdoor scene contrast with the darker color pallet of the cabin interior. The painting is one of two based on the same subject. Both are in private collections.
